I have a EPROM Chip Hitachi HN27C101AG-12 - 32PIN - 128KB,
I only have EPROM chip Hitachi HN27C4001G-12 - 32PIN - 512KB in stock

are they compatible ??

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

@OP: did you read the datasheets?

and what does "compatible" mean?
* drop in replacement?
* timing, voltage levels, supply current...?

From my point of view: No, it´s no drop in replacement. (PIN 30, 31)

Klaus

Easy fixable for OP.
Pull pins 30 and 31 to VCC (31 should already be pulled high during normal operation) and make 4 copies of original EPROM contents, concatenated, and program the 4001.
