Guys, i'm doing a energy meter using ADE7758. I've a problem on calibrating it.
Anyone have done it successfully ? Help me !
I've done the communication(SPI) successfully. And also i'm getting some value from it. I dont' know whether it is right or wrong !
I need help to calibrate the rms readings, 7758 gives a unsigned 24 bit rms value, what i've to do with it ? What should i load in the VRMSGAIN and VRMSOS(offset) registers ? how can i cross verify the result ?

Thanks in advance.

you want to count the RMS value from the meter right?

In your meter How many leds are there ?

on that board what they mention for that LED ?

tell me after that i will tell back how to calibrate?

Calibration means comparing to a known standard and adjust, if necessary. If you don't have a known accurate standard, e.g. a good RMS multimeter, you can't calibrate and should better rely on precalculated gain factors.

Calibration means, that you need to get clear about right or wrong first.
