VLSI is the technology for making chips. VLSI Design involves design of the chip's architecture, then design and coding of each of the modules of the chip's arch. These modules are vlsi modules and might be coded in verilog or vhdl languages. When this vlsi design is done for chips to be used in embedded applications, it is called embedded vlsi design
