hello everyone,

I'm running a spice simulation of a two-satge opamp I would like to see if the NMOSs and PMOSs are operating in saturation region any

line that can display that ether in log file or ezwave that shows the transistors opearing point

thank you in adavance

Hi,

This feature exists in Cadence Spectre, but, at the moment, it seems that spice is lacking this feature.
At least, you can print vgs, vth and vds, but you have to determine operating point by yourself.

If I am wrong, I am also very interested in a way to do that (especially with ngspice).

SPICE operation point info usually shows vds and vds-sat. Saturation region operation means vds > vds-sat .

I just find out that in eldo we can use something like
.extract label=XNM1_VDS VDS(XOPAMP.XNM1.MAIN)
.extract label=XNM1_VGS VGS(XOPAMP.XNM1.MAIN)
.extract label=XNM1_VTH VTH_D(XOPAMP.XNM1.MAIN)
to extract the Vds and Vgs ...etc
