I want to realize the filter with some structures, such as Direct Form1,2, Parallel (DF2, DF2 transposed) and cascade (DF2, DF2 transposed).
I do that in MATLAB Simulink (FDA Tool). Then I Insert scopes at internal nodes and calculate maximum signal swing for each structure.
How can I derive the word lengths for different internal nodes by comparing maximum node swings at different structures?
