I agrea with you,but to have a library containing most the models from most manufacturers is more practicable thane looking for each model whwnever neaded at the manufaturer website.

about EDALIB 's HSpice support
quote from edalib web:

The models and subcircuits have been tested with the SPICE3F5-compatible simulator Electronics Workbench®. The libraries could be used with all Berkeley SPICE 3F5 and 100% compatible simulators, e.g. AimSpice(R), B²SPICE(R), CircuitMaker(R), Dr.SPICE(R), Electronics Workbench(R), HSPICE(R), Intusoft SPICE(R), MicroCap(R), PSpice(R), Protheus(R), Pro Spice(R), SpiceAge(R), Spice-It(R), Simetrix(R), Simplorer(R), TopSpice(R) und TSpice(R).

In addition extended models for Electronics Workbench(R), Intusoft(R) SPICE (ICAP/4(R))und PSpice(R) are supported.

OK, but, how about the level of the spice model? level_1~ level_3? Generally, the most accuracy of models for individule Fab are level_49 or above ( considering the VLSI design). Does anyone know what is the level support for EDALIB?
