EDA Translation Bar - how is it made? need hints

Hi webmaster,

I want to know how you've built this language bar in that topic area. I want to create one like that too.

I have browsed and found that google server side API can be used for this but i am not sure how. can you please help me?

or just give me hints, i will find my way

well i know that.. but if you see the links when you hover on flag you hover your mouse then you see something like this.

so there is something to be done on server side to handle this..

As far as i can make out, this link is sent to the translation module of website coz its not the real link, Its rewritten using apache rewrite module.

so i want to know how this server side translation is done.

This part which they have done here is really different, interesting and useful.
