EBG structure simulation to check EMI suppression

hello guys..
I have simulated some EBG structures in CST and get plots for S-parameters as shown in the published papers... but i dont know how to simulate to check whether it is providing any EMI reduction at a particular distance... please suggest some way to simulate the same in CST...
