Hi,

On mac versions, eagle doesn't have a ulp that simply converts the schematic to ascii that LTspice uses.
It would be nice if there's a ulp for macs, but I'm unable to find one.

I have the LTspice mac version, which works well. I have eaglecad for macs, which works. I'm just having troubles converting the files, or importing/exporting if possible.

I want to avoid using wine, vmware, or any windows version of these if possible.

THanks

as ulp are text command files, I don't see why the ulp that works for windows doesnt work for mac
at least it needs some minor modification like the folders paths but that should be the most ?

If i take the ulp that works for windows and use it in my mac, i'll get an error message:

I dont know how to write ulp files, so I wouldn't know what to change.

It's called ltspice.ulp, which is only available in the Window's Eaglecad installation. (If you install Eagle on Mac, it wouldn't have this ulp in the folders).

I've attached the ulp from windows.

Thanks again for the help.

I found 2 ulp on the cadsoft website
one named spice, the other eaglespice
both seems to do the same thing and do the work on a mac and generate a valid netlist
I did not try to open it with ltspice thought.
eaglespice seems to have more options.

I will look forward to your ltspice ulp to see what's wrong on a mac.

in fact the ltspice ulp is really tighted to the ltspice files and libraries structures on windows
the ltspice mac does not have this structure
and so adaptating this ulp to the mac is a complete rewrite if possible at all !
better use the two other ulp I gave you they work out of the box.
