Hello everyone,

I would like to know the requirements for a low-power DVB-T TX (max 5 W), classic NTSC or PAL TXs are class AB, they need high linearity, but, what about COFDM ? Is it possible the use of a more efficient class of operation ?

Thanks in advance,

since COFDM is build of a lot of carriers in 6,7,or 8 MHz lineairity must be good. Otherwise intermodulation would damage the signal.
These transmitters have an efficiency about 12%.
