I've been using this excellent forum for ages, but I've never had the nerve to ask the Dumb Question Of The Year: what does EDA mean?
 

It means Electronics Design Automation although it never seems very automatic to me - I still seem to have to do a lot of the hard work.

really apt the first two are satisfied and i wish the last also satiated in the near future
