Datasheet for reference ^

i'm looking at this PIC because i like the large number of IO, as well as ADC/SPI available.

i'd like to have an ADC channel. there are up to 8 channels you can mux in to the ADC. my situation is: i only want 1 ADC channel. say AN0. will AN1-AN7 become unusable as GPIO if i enable the ADC module?

thank you

ANSELy register you can set which pins you want to use for ADC and which pin as GPIO pins.

dsPICs doesn't have ANSELx they have ADxCONx, ADxCNDxyz, ADxPCFG and mamy more registers to be configuted
