dspic33 compilation - help needed

dspic33 compilation

i am starting with ds pic33 with mplab v8.46. i have installed ccs c compiler and am tryig to compile a sample c code. but when i try to make the file ccs keeps trying to reinstall. if i abort the installation i get message- BUILD FAILED
please help
