hi every one i am going to develop a board on DSPIC30F4011-20E/P 40 pin dip package i need qei for that only i chosen this chip, had any tried this chip in ccs complier, does this chip has any issue kindly let me know

There are a few issues discussed in the device errata PDF, no show stoppers.

I've used both the dsPIC30F301x and dsPIC30F401x series for numerous designs.

I don't have or use the CCS compiler, so I cannot offer any advice in that area.

30F4011 is a classical dsPIC, I would expect that it's basically working with CCS.

It's still possible that you find bugs with specific CCS built-in functions, but less likely in this case. I would give it a try.

please suggest any 40 pin dip package dspic that do dot have any problem i2c, uart, io etc.
