dsp ethernet

I want to use a DSP(TMS320C54x) to interface with an ethernet controller.Who can tell me which one is appropriate for the DSP?
Thank you!

I think you need some glue logic -EPLD- to translate the DSP R/W cycles to ISA cycles -PCI is much more complicated-.
If you use some ISA Ethernet controller, like Realtek RTL8029, you have it.

I don't know if this helps you.
Regards.

You should use PLD or CPLD for a DSP to interface with an ethernet controller (DSP- PLD or CPLD-ethernet controller)

I have found two non-PCI controllers, Cirrus CS8900A and Realtek RTL8019AS.
If you want 100Mbit, you are stuck with PCI or USB controllers

Does anybody know about any others non-PCI controllers ?

Hi,
there are some 10/100MBit controllers from LSILOGIC and SMC:
