hi all,

i have a task to operate a DSP by Texas Instrument using DSK6713 + 5-6 K interface board + ads 8344 EVM, but i'm really dont understand to use this device..

when i tried to run this device from CCS, the program is failed..

is there anyone who can give some help for using this DSP??

Hi,

can't give you specific help there unfortunately, but I had similar probs with another ADC. Are you testing the ADS 8344 EVM with the Demo programs Texas Instruments is offering?

As far as I know they have a demo program for every ADC to use in connection with the DSK6713 DSP-board. Unfortunately they don't have those programs available for download, but if you don't have the files yet, just ask for them at epic@ti.com - I got them (for a different ADC though) within 24 hours by email.

With this demo program you can at least test if your stuff is working at all. Then you can fiddle around a bit and improve the code to match your needs - probably easier than starting from scratch.
