Hi.., I"m using DS89C450 for only Serial ports communications. i'm able to initialise serial port 0 using timer2 succefully , but unable to use serial port 1.
i tried all the possible initialazations but unable to transmit msg using serial port 1.

Plz help me solve the problem..

Well, do you configure registers in right manner. If this mcu support dual port in the same time?
