Hi,
I want to energise a coil of impedance 60 ohm with 24V across it. Hence i require a switching device which can withstand a current of around 400mA (24/60).
I found a transistor 2N4401 which has collector current of 600mA.
My doubt is whether is it enough to go for a transistor having high collector current or choose some other device like FET, Triac... for this operation.
Thanks,
Murugesh
