Hello Everyone !!!

I'm writing a thesis " analysis of losses in a triple screw tuner for rectangular waveguide ".
I'm using feko 5.5 for the simulation, but i don't know what i should do !!!!
Feko gives me a lot of problem with waveguides simulations. HELP !!!

well u have chosen a very difficult problem. The losses will be primarily in the screw threads (like a surface roughness) and in the screw-to-wall poor electrical contact. Both are a little hard to model correctly...especially the later.

THANK YOU !!!!
The problem is how to plot S11 !!! Feko, to plot S-Parameters, use a fixed impedance reference !!! But in a rectangular wg, this impedance is frequency dependent ( for TE Zo = w*u/Kz, where w = 2*pi*frequency, u = magnetic permeability and Kz is the propagation constant ). How can i should do ?

Yeah, that is a very minor problem compared to the true challenge. Just set your source and load ports to have the wave impedance of the guide u are using.

Thanks !!! And..yes ! that is is a very minor problem but, it's the first that i have to face !!! THANK YOU !!! THANK YOU !!!
