Dos SD 1.1 controller support 4G SD card??

dos sd card

The cpu has a SD controller which comply with SD 1.1 spec.
Does the controller support 4G SD card?
How about 8G SD card??

Can I copy a file which size is over 2G/Byte to the SD card?
