Does Intel 865PERL support Redhat 8.0?

I want to buy Intel 865PERL motherboard,

Could someone tell me if this motherboard supports RedHat 8.0?
or
Did someone install RedHat 8.0 on this motherboard?

springdale and canterwood boards came after redhat 8 therefore thier not supported, however this doesnt mean it wont work, try it, it should be fine. What you have to watch out for is if your using a new raid controller instead of the onboard ide. Check this 1st, then you can get drivers for the controller before hand.

I installed Redhat 8.0 on Intel 865PERL.
everything is OK, except the inregrated soundcard.

no driver for SoundMAX 4XL.
