The E8a on-chip debugging emulator is a development of the E8, maintaining the same functionality and ease of use whilst reducing both cost to the end user and the size of the unit.
What's improved?
- New microcomputers for on-chip debugger are supported. (M16C/65 Group etc.)
- About 60 percent smaller in volume and its plastic case is made from a biodegradable material. (a vegetable-based polylactide [PLA])
- Adopted a general connector as a user interface cable.
- All Families of flash microcomputers are supported for programming. (As the supported microcomputers will be added progressively, please refer to the following list.)
