picbasic division

is the picbasic pro accepts the decimal points specially in division (ex: 25.6/2.5)
if not what can i do?????
thanx in advance

picbasic pro+math operations

For division if you do not need huge precision use a LUT for 1/x and multiply.

Hope this helps

PBP can do only integer math operations, but you can shift the decimal point to reflect your expression, in your example: 25.6/2.5 = 256/25.

PBP also can do Floating Point simple math operations (sum, sub, division and multiply) using the Microchip routines. Check for the FP file, examples and explanation available at Melabs site.
