Displaying pictures on tft LCD display using PIC or AVR microcontrollers

Hi all, can anyone post some info on displaying pictures(*.jpeg) on a 65k tft LCd screen using either PIC or AVR microcontrollers.
I'm planning to do a project on that.

You are best of using a driver such as epson or SSD1906, downfall is they require a emi bus (external memory).
You will have to convert from jpeg as the display drivers use raw pixel format, eg. bitmap binary data.
