Display Selection for timer application

i am looking for LCD display for timer application. Can some one guide me how to select LCD display.

what are driving method and which method is good

any manufacturer where i could able to get timer display.

it should have days option.

which method is good

The one that fits to your display. Any other driving method will not work (satisfactory)

A dot matrix display will be most flexible.

Look at the big electronics distributors
Look at the display manufacturers
Look at ebay
