display real time data from energy meter's RS485 port

I have conzerv EM6400 and L&T's intelligent quasar meter.Both have communication enabled RS485 port. i wanted to display particularly single address real time data on LED display.how it could be possible??

if you have controller having RS-232 output then you can use rs-232 to rs-485 converter like SN75176. bcoz most of the controller having 232 output.
