hi all
Why bandwidth is waisted when over sampling is done. Is the Sampling frequency used for calculating the overall required bandwidth.

Before I try to answer, do you know what fourier and laplace transforms are?

Hi!!!
basically when you go for oversampling, you are taking samples on wide range i.e. leaving less sapce of band for other signals , coming under the specipied BW.

thats waste of BW.
