hi

standard design library supply two types' powers dirty power and clean power

what are the diffierences between them? 3ks

hi
in which software?
probably, dirty power has noise.
regards

In ASIC, dirty power generally means IO power with high noise,

clean power means core power with less noise.

best regards

Generally our design take IO and core power as dirty power. But we have to seperate them to avoid interference. We take power for analog circuit as clean power. It is should be seperated as far away as dirty power.

power with voltage fluctuations, freqiency variations, and with sag and swell, is termed as bad power.
the power with all the parameter fixed as per specification, is called clean power.

I think actually one power is relatively dirty or clean to the other.
