HI,

If a diode is forward biased; i want to place a current limiting resistor in series.
What is the difference in placing the resistor at the cathod side, or the anode side, in terms of RF and matching please?

Thank you for your help

could you explain further? is the diode is in forward biased also it is connected in series to the resistor, then the output voltage is low. it is because we have the power dissipation/voltage drop at the diode and resistor. in terms of RF? is this circuit is connected to a RF chip of RF antenna? the EMI produce will increase because of that resistor. the greater the value of the resistance the bigger the EMI produced!

best regards,
