Hi,
I am new to digital RF and I want to build a remoter controller for a simple robot. The remote controller should be able to send/receive 5 different commands.
I was wondering if PT2272 and PT2262 are good choices? if yes then I know nothing about using them ,can anyone please introduce me a tutorial about using these two ICs?
by the way I am familiar with AVR and FPGA and the range of the remote controller is not very important but it is very good if I can send/receive more than 5 commands .

Thank you very much.

If uPs are involved, I think it would be meaningful to use data transceiver (e.g. TI CC10xx) rather than remote remote control IC.
