Digital Potentiometer MCP41010 as regulator control

Hello, I would like to use the MCP41010 to digitally control from arduino a DC/DC StepUp converter.
I have read the datasheet https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/11195c.pdf , but maybe I miss something.

My question is, that the voltage accross the potentiometer the dc/dc converter has reaches 32 V.

can the Digital pot stand that voltage or it will be destroyed ?
Can you suggest me some solution ?

Unable to understand the exact meaning of this sentence. MCP41010 is a 5V part, so ist's power supply and voltage on any pin shouldn't be above 5V by design (7V absolute maximum rating). The question refers to your (yet unknown) circuit.
 
My question is
Can I use this digital potentiometer to control voltages greater than 5v?
 

Thank you for the replies. That gets too complicated and will take lots of time and testing. I will use servo potentiometer for best results!
