I need a good topic in digital communication for a course research(or project).can can anybody introduce me some good topics?

well for digital commu u can go for modulation schemes like ASK,PSK,QPSK,GMSK....and many more
if u r interested in GSM then go for GMSK modulation it is used now a days for modu of gsm...and the receiver based on GMSK is known as a RAKE reciever......

Wahts ur interest b/c Digital encircles almost everything (Channel Coding,Modulation,HDL,etc)
First decide the area,then filter that particular area.
