Dear All,
Could anyone tell me what is the difference between full duplex and half duplex, which one is better 2 use for interfaching atmega128 microcontroller for longer distance & why.

Thanx.

Half duplex is two way comunication but not simultaneously. One @ a time.
ex. wireless
Full duplex is two way and simultaneous
ex.mobile
microcontroller interface is it for a pc ?
what's ur application?

Tell to which device or which sort of device are you communicating..
If your communication must be of bi-direction then better to use full duplex transmission
