Hi, I am learning the differential pa design.

I have some problem about load-pull.

Should I do the differential load-pull for my pa?

And how should I do in ads.

I can't find the design guide about differential load pull.

Thank you.

Use ideal balun.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
But if I use ideal balun, the optimal load impedance is after the balun.
The goal of my design is using the transformer as a matching circuit of the pa.
But I don't know how to do that. Thank you.

First simplify your problem by dividing the circuit into half then find single ended solution after that combine the solutions.
Find the optimum load for each branch of the differential amplifier then use a balun that converts "double of the optimum load impedance" due to differential structure to 50 Ohm ( or whatsoever ).
