hello,
I have made a program in .asm language. After creating the hex file (intel hex file-348 bytes) when i am loading it in my programmer before burning the size is coming less (118 bytes). Is it normal or there is something wrong ?? If wrong then with my programmer or compiler(keil)?
Uc-at89s52
thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply.
The problem is then: In simulation my program is running perfectly .However after burning its another story.
sorry for bothering but i have some very basic doubts if you could clear them it would save me a lot of time..
1)only hex file is needed to be burnt to make the Uc work?
2) Intel HEX-80 format is compatible with AT89S52?
3) what should be the min voltage and time duration applied to count as an event when timer is in counter mode(timer0,timer 1)
4)To transmit data to a Zigbee only serial transmission pin(P3.1) of Uc needs to be connected to the RXD pin of zigbee

if you attach source and hex code and possible schematic all will be more clear!

A Intel HEX file contains the address and CRC information so it is bigger than a binary file.
