Hi all....

Can Somebody Quote the Difference between LAN and vLAN.....?

A virtual LAN, commonly known as a vLAN or as a VLAN, is a method of creating independent logical networks within a physical network.

What does the above mean...?

Thanks......

Adding more, LANs can be physically sperated but with Vlan we can making them as if they are in single LAN. layer3 device sets the VLAN id with which router can make intelligent routing.
