detection message shown on the network by network board

How the network's register detect the message in the red? I means, in a LAN there are a message for a network board where in the lan there are a lot of network board.

I think it read all messages and the register compare the destination's MAC (which are in the frame) in the register with the newtwork board's MAC making a comparison , for example with an AND
