designing a switch with Schmit trigger

I'm trying to design a switch as a part of my circuit, but i couldn't reach to expected result, now I need to know that is this possible?
or it is better to use another option for switch. I tried transmission gate before and it didn't work too. I'll be very grateful.

A schmitt trigger is available as an IC.

Or you can make one from an op amp. You add hysteresis with a positive feedback resistor. You may need to make a lot of adjustments, so the output changes state at your desired input levels. These levels are different, depending on whether the output is high, or low.

There is also a way to make a schmitt trigger from two transistors.

I'm trying to design a voltage regulator and in one of steps I need to switch between two stage, I want to use schmitt trigger as a switch but I don't know that, is it a correct choice? because I saw schmitt trigger as a pulse producer from a noisy input. really I need to find a schmitt trigger circuit that
switches from low input voltage to high (not vice verse), and I don't have much time, if you have a sample I'll be so glad and grateful to see it.

One IC is the 74LS13 'dual NAND schmitt trigger'. Or 74LS132 quad version.

I guess that means you do not want your signal inverted? The 7413 inverts the incoming signal. To change the polarity back again, you would feed inverted output from the first gate to a second gate.
