GSM auto power-up

Hello,
I'm currently working on a GSM remote controller based on an old GSM phone.
I looking a way to make an auto power up of the phone after a power cut.
I don't know if it is possible to do this with specific brands/models because for all the phones I have, I must switch them on manually by pressing a touch.

Any idea ?

David

Re: GSM auto power-up

Hi,

I believe the old Ericsson GA628 had one of the AT commands that supported power on and power off.

GSM auto power-up

Hi,

The best and easy way is to use a MCU like the PIC10F20X or anything else. Very small and you can program it to do what ever you want.
Good luck.

Re: GSM auto power-up

Hi,
I will try to solder two wires from the On/Off touch to a relay or an optocoupler and ignite the phone with the microcontroller.
It seems the simplest solution for the moment.
