I should design two band-pass filter at C band with 500 MHz bandwidth(3.625–4.200GHz for downlink and 5.850–6.425 for uplink) using Rectangular Waveguide.
I use CST Microwave Studio for designing process.
Can you help me how to design this BPF?
Thanks in advance!:)

I do not know about simulations but find the best filter book by Matthaei, Young and Jones : Microwave Filter Design. Includes solved problems and tested real filters.

Can you help me design that waveguide filter? It have very wide bandwidth.

have u tried for material in google ?? I found some design tool websites, where u can give ur requirements of filter and get the design data..!! Majorly Stepped waveguide or Waveguide Iris type are used for filter design with wave guides..!!

Would you show me those website? I have searched in google, but almost websites only have tools for microstrip line and don't have for metal material. I want to design rectangular waveguide filter with copper or aluminum.
Thanks!

I synthesized a coupling matrix but I cannot know how to convert coefficients of coupling matrix to size and distance of Iris in Waveguide filter.
Help me plz. Thanks :)

Hi

Did you get some solution to transform the coupling matrix to dimensions like length of resonator and width of iris .. Please let me know the process you followed ??

Thanks
