Hi All,

I'm a beginner of PCB design. Any suggestions on design packages (Protel and PADS), ORCAD, ALTIUM tutorials or study materials?

I'd like to try all of them,and pick up the one I like most after trying.

Any recommendation?
 

if you are going to try all of them and then buy, it will be very difficult for you because all are different and it will take some time to get you an understanding of them.
You can rather do one thing, depending on your design requirements and budget choose the tool and then start learning it.
If you are not designing complex high speed board I would recommend Altium.

No, I'm not designing complex high speed board. So i guess altium will be the best fit for me?

Also,i wanna know, which one is better for complex high speed board design, PADS or ORCAD?
