defination of lpc (low powerconsumption) in electronics term ?

As you mentioned Low Power consumption ( LPC)
this term is used for the reason that the entire controller is not driven by a single a single 5V supply... unlike older 8051..

Philips with ARM processor released the controllers called as LPCseries of controllers. it means that CPU or core operates at 1.8V, peripherals at 3.3V and GPIO tolerable at 5V...
tha ability of the controller to bring peripherals and bus to sleep mode or (power down and idle mode) to consume less power made way to LPC family, which is a part of every controller in todays world
