Hi ,
I would like to send the following data from AVR controller to the PC serially :

array[] = {" RIFFP WAVEfmt    L ˜>   dep   sounds/zzam.au ˜ŒßïÄdata, û õ€ã€à€é€å€ï ö€€?€?€9€3€/€%€#€€€î€Ê "};

the unsigned char type is not working with it, Can someone suggest me how to declare and define the array in C? and these charachters are not even in the CHAR table.(ascii)
What about a string array?
Thank u in advance.

It appears you are attempting to send Unicode or wchar charaters which require 2 bytes per character vs 1 byte per character for ASCII. Successful transmission of Unicode will require code/storage changes to routines at both ends, AVR and PC.
