Hello,
I'm starting with 8051 and the Dallas DS2252(T) micrcocontroller, as it's fast and has 64kB of program NVRAM. Can anybody tell me which C compiler can I use with this micro? Where to download a "evaluation" version of this compiler, and so on.
Thanks very much,
Zeke
Well, I have Ke*il uVision2 version 2.23 with C51 version 6.23a. But doesn't include the Dallas DS2252.
Is this a good chip? I think it's easy to program and has too much NV RAM for program.
I need something with more than 32KB of Program memory (Flash if possible) and easy to program.
Thanks
Zeke
Hi..NikZetaJones,
I believe that Philips's P89C51RD2 should be the one mcu that satisfies all your needs. Its features include 64 Kb of (flash) program memory, 1K of data memory, very easy to program (IAP via UART using build-in bootloader), etc. In all, it's an amazing (MCS51 compatible) chip.
