The cpu for the programmer can be changed to others i did it u used a Cygnal F300

The schematic is there but in format psocprog.wmf .. get Irfanview ..and you will be able to see .wmf it and to change it to other format you like

hey with what a sh** cad program they use to make this schematic ??? it's awfull...

by the way, can't we use something else than the at90s8515.. there are so many useless i/o ports on the schema...

another question, is this programmer compatible with the cypress software, or do you need to use the supplied program ??

Which Software you used?
If You used PSoCprog.zip, taken from this page - it didn't and mustn't work. It suppose another hardware - see **broken link removed**.
If You'll read carefully PSoCProgrammerUserManual.pdf, enclosed in PSoC programmer.zip, You'll see what your programmer work under the control of Software from Arista Systems, www.aristasystems.com/psocisp - try it!

Check RS232 connection between PC and programmer. Do you note that signals RXD, TXD in programmer RS232 connector are on the same pins as in PC RS232 connector and you must use null-modem cable (with crossed lines for RXD and TXD)?

psoc 40 pin

Hi all,

I've constructed the mentioned programmer using the 40 pin DIP version of the AT90S8515 uC. Using the supplied windows software, i can communicate with the chip successfully, but i always get (Flash Verify Error) when trying to verify the programmed PSoC chip (CY8C26443).

All wiring are double-Checked OK.

anybody can help?
