Custom Compiler

Hello I m using Custom Compiler...do you know how to copy the pins from the layout keeping the labels? I need to do it for creating a wrapper but when i launch the LVS it gives me errors due to "missing port".

I do not use your tool but have many times simply selected all the placed
top level pins placed on the pad-cage and copied them to another layout,
so that I can later place-and-flatten that, and now my streamed-in GDSII
has pins for LVS again.
