Dear Friends!
Very good morning!

I am having one doubt for long days. What is the maximum current can we pass through 0E resistor. how to calculate? if we do anything with zero will results infinity or unpredictable.

I need to pass 3A current via 0E(1206-1/4 watt) resistor.. Is it possible? I am using as a jumper
I think voltage rating is not needed. anyhow my circuit voltage through 0E resistor is 4V

Thanks in advance!:grin:

Dear prabhukaran3
As per Ohms law,
V=IR
Power Dissipation =I^2 * R=VI=4* 3=12W
So,250mW Resistor will not work.
But,if we want to use 250mW then ,Pd=250mW=3^2 * R
R=27.77mohms so,let us consider 24mohm Resistor,
So,Pd=3^2 * 24m =216mW

Thanks & waiting for knowledge enhancement,:smile:
