CUBE OF 4 bitBCD

Hi there. Im stuck with implementing the function of : the cube of a 4 bit BCD word

using ROM with AND and OR Arrays... Do i need to multiply the 4bit BCD code to obtain the cube or there exists simpler algorithm to compute the cube of a BCD string of 4 bits???
I'll be implementing the equation for each bit of the BCD word using programmable arrays.. any help???
