For :
1-rectangular
2-cylindrical
3-parallel plate
4-gap and ridge gap

In general, the tangential electric field component is 0 -> perfect conductor

even for gap waveguides ? do they have walls for example if I want to simulate a ridge gap waveguide do i add metallic walls as boundaries or it is open?

Can you show some example of a ridge gap waveguide because from what I found about it, I don't understand your question.
