Hi Everybody,
I am new to CST program. I was using the 4NEC2 program to simulate some simple electromagnetic problems. However, I need the CST program to simulate some more difficult problems. I faced a problem while simulating a plane wave incident on two solid conductors each of length 40 meters. The problem is that when I choose the "H-field and surface current" to monitor the surface current, I want to see the current in the Z-direction only. So when I plot the Z-component only I got complete different results from what I got in 4NEC2, so I do not know what to do to have the current distribution in just one direction and also in A not A/m? if anyone can help pls

Please post a picture of your results and your problem, one pic is better than 1000 words

Thanks johnjoe for your reply. I attached the problem and the results. The problem is simple I want to see the induced current in two solid conductors when a plane wave is incident over them in the free space. However, I want to see this current along the length of the two conductors (i.e. in one direction) and in A not A/m. The two conductors are PEC of length 40 m along z-axis and of radius 0.0015m. I used the "H-field and surface current" option to monitor the current. However, I do not know how to get the current in A instead of A/m and how to get the results in the Z-direction only Shall I fix the x and y components? I do not know.
